Lecturer
| Mr. Jay Carizo is a pollster, a Political Economy and Local Governance Specialist, and a programs and policy expert. He used to hate Mathematics that he took Political Science as an undergraduate degree, and Public Administration as well as Juris Doctor for post-graduate degrees. Realizing, however, that everything boils down to numbers, Jay focused on data collection, data analytics and computer programming. In 2011, he headed the Rapid Community-Based Monitoring System (RCBMS) Team — the Consulting Team of the National Anti-Poverty Commission that introduced first ever gadget-based data collection system in the Philippines. Currently, Jay is the Lead Consultant of the Special Projects unit of Galing Pook Foundation, and the Co-Founder of Solistrat – a research and management consulting company. |
